History:

The Odyssey was formerly the Dutch Frigate Zuiderhuis that was captured rather easly since her dutch crew were asleep on August 30th 1819 by Captain Nicholas Ramage in HMS Persephone while on patrol. The Odyssey was taken into the British service and was given to Captain Ramage after the loss of the Persephone.
