Lyrics

Here follows the lyrics for the anthem:

Lyrics.jpg

Dark is the hour of danger.
The enemy's force is near.
Britain must be defended!
The burden is ours to bear!

The Red Dragon has been woken,
the captains are sailing forth!
Valour is their token,
Men of noble worth!

Strength in Unity!
Fly the banner fair and proud!
Men of bravery!
Rule the seas with cannons loud!
Strength in Unity!
Our courage never fails!
Forth in loyalty!
The Squadron will prevail!

Victory lies before us,
home and peace behind.
The gails of the eastwind bore us.
A new world here to find.

Homely shores are gone.
Glorious deeds be done!
Every captain will fight with honour!
Conquest of foes is near!

Chorus

We sail to defend our loved ones,
victorious we shall stand!
Golden hearts and strong bones,
the Lord will guide our hand.

Far away from home,
water is our road.
Now our foes shall tremble.
Behold; Our fleet is strong!

Chorus

Strength in Unity!
Fly the banner fair and proud!
Men of bravery!
Rule the seas with cannons loud!
Strength in Unity!
Our courage never fails!
Forth to victory!
The Squadron will prevail!
