HMS Balmoral was commissioned out of the Port Royal Dockyards straight into the St. George Squadron of the White on November 5th, 1731 under the command of Captain Alexander James Ramage as replacement for his aging Flagship HMS Duke William. She is outfitted for patrol duty off of Bluefields and is the newest pride of her Captain.
